Blessed Junipero Serra's cross gets a kiss from Pope Francis

I am of course thrilled that the acknowledgment of Father Serra's saintliness continues. But, I was also impressed to learn more about the Catholic Extension Society. According to the news release, here's some information on them:

The society raises roughly $25 million each year to support more than 1,000 projects, including church construction and assistance for seminaries and vowed religious. It also offers support to migrant workers and poor communities.

We see so many attacks on Christians and their churches and the same atheists ignore charitable acts from groups like these.
